Do you know the working principle of solar streetlights?
They mainly rely on solar panels, which convert sunlight into direct
current using the photoelectric effect.
During the day when sunlight is abundant, part of the electricity
generated by the solar panels directly powers the streetlights. The excess
electricity is stored in storage batteries under the regulation of a
controller.
When night falls, if the ambient light intensity drops below the value
set by the controller, the controller will activate, allowing the storage
batteries to supply power to the LED light sources in the streetlights. Then
the streetlights turn on and illuminate the road.
When dawn comes and the light intensity reaches the set value, the
controller will shut down the streetlights, making them automatically turn off.
